Fly Ash Transportation

Reliable, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible transportation solutions for fly ash — safe, efficient handling from thermal power plants to various utilization points.

Fly ash What is fly ash
What we do

A byproduct that's become a valuable resource.

Fly ash is a fine powder that is a byproduct of burning pulverized coal in electric generation power plants. It consists of silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, and calcium oxide — substances that can combine with water to form cementitious compounds.

When coal is burned, these mineral impurities (clay, feldspar, quartz, and shale) fuse in suspension and float out with the exhaust gases. As the fused material rises, it cools and solidifies into spherical glassy particles — fly ash — collected by electrostatic precipitators or bag filters before the gases reach the chimneys.

Utilizing fly ash not only helps in reducing the environmental impact of coal combustion but also provides a valuable resource for various industries, contributing to circular economy principles.

Did you know

Fly ash, by the facts.

The fly ash we transport plays a crucial role in sustainable construction and manufacturing.

— 01

~200 MT / year

India produces approximately 200 million tonnes of fly ash annually.
— 02

CO₂ reduction

Proper fly ash utilization can reduce CO₂ emissions by millions of tonnes.
— 03

1:1 in cement

One tonne of fly ash used in cement production saves about one tonne of CO₂ emissions.
— 04

100% mandate

The Government of India mandates 100% fly ash utilization by thermal power plants.
Advantages

Benefits of our fly ash transportation.

Numerous advantages to thermal power plants and other stakeholders in the construction industry.

— 01

Environmental Compliance

Our transportation solutions help thermal power plants meet government mandates for 100% fly ash utilization, avoiding penalties and environmental concerns.
— 02

— 06

Extensive Coverage

We serve major thermal power plants across Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and neighboring states with our extensive transportation network.
Our methods

Our transportation process.

A systematic approach to fly ash transportation, ensuring efficiency and environmental responsibility at every step.

— 01

Collection

Specialized tankers arrive at thermal power plants on pre-arranged schedules. Pneumatic systems collect fly ash directly from silos in a dust-free manner.

— 02

Transportation

Sealed tankers transport fly ash using optimized routes. Special measures prevent any spillage or dust emission during transit, with GPS tracking.

— 03

Delivery

Fly ash is delivered to cement plants, ready-mix concrete facilities, or other end-users via pneumatic unloading systems with minimal environmental impact.

— 04

Documentation & Reporting

We maintain comprehensive records of all fly ash transported, providing detailed reports to power plants for regulatory compliance.

End uses

Fly ash applications.

Contributing to sustainable construction and manufacturing practices.

— Cement

Cement Production

Fly ash serves as a partial replacement for Portland cement in concrete production, typically 15–30% of the cementitious material. It reduces the carbon footprint of cement production while enhancing concrete durability and strength.
— Roads

Road Construction

Used as a stabilizing agent for soil and a component in asphalt pavements. It improves soil properties, reduces shrinkage cracks, and enhances durability of road surfaces — an economical, environmentally friendly option.
— Bricks

Brick Manufacturing

Fly ash bricks are an eco-friendly alternative to clay bricks, using up to 80% fly ash mixed with lime, gypsum, and other materials. They offer superior strength, uniformity, and thermal insulation.
— Land

Land Reclamation

Fly ash can reclaim low-lying areas, abandoned mines, and quarries. Properly managed, it transforms barren lands into usable spaces for development or agriculture.
